About

Transformation is never easy.  It begins with a good honest look in the mirror and a wish to see or experience something different, often better.  The thing with change is that you have to be comfortable with uncertainty.  It doesn’t happen in one day, one week, or one month.  You have to be somewhat patient because when you shed old skin, move to a new location, leave a relationship, or search for a new job, it takes time for the universe to hear your request and start plotting the path.  It is in the many days after the decision that the universe begins to work for you.  It needs you to also be patient and try not to look over shoulder and peddle back into the past.

Today, December 31st, 2017, New Years Eve, I am living in a home that is not mine.  Long story.  I’m safe and with people who love me.  It’s been a hell of a year, but I found through the adversity of the last 12 months, I’ve become stronger, wiser, kinder, and more focused.

I made a promise to myself that I would do things that made me happy. Makeup, beauty, and skincare have been the simplest forms of self care that have helped me through the rough patches this past year.  After the age of 50, it’s almost impossible to find beauty gurus online that share their secrets.  The commercial ads always feature 20 somethings who wouldn’t know a thing about aging mature skin.  I am 54 years old, have lots of lines and wrinkles and dry skin.  I’m on a mission to find the products that make me feel and look, not younger, because I don’t believe in anything that is anti-aging (there is no such thing), instead I will share those products that make me feel the best version of myself and I hope my findings will help you as well!

Saludos,
Linda
